Using the Jacket for the VNR

In this video we show the VNR using a suspect’s jacket to apply pressure to the sides of the neck reducing the amount of blood flow to the brain causing unconsciousness, which will generally cause unconsciousness within 7 to 15 seconds of proper application. The person will generally be unconscious for about 20 to 30 seconds depending how long the technique was applied. We never recommend applying any VNR longer than 30 seconds unless deadly force is intended. Blueshieldtactical.com
